SPORTS COACHING APPRENTICESHIP
We are really pleased to announce we will be offering an apprenticeship scheme at Zuko Sports. We will help and support coaches to use extensive technical and tactical sports knowledge and skills to design and deliver coaching programmes that engage, motivate and evolve particiaptns’ skills and performance.
Assisting in the delivery and delivering physical activity and school sport to children and young people in schools and the local community. This will include school curriculum time following the PE National Curriculum, lunchtime activities, after school clubs, birthday parties, holiday camps and private sessions.
These will focus on a variety of different sports, multi activities, healthy lifestyles and fitness activity.
Tasks through out the day
- Plan lessons/activities/sessions
- Assist in PE/Coaching sessions/Lessons (Both practical and theory)
- Deliver extra-curricular activities
- Build personal portfolio
- Upload information using ICT
- Marketing training e.g. Business social media
- Establish good working relationships with staff/schools/parents and children, acting as a role model
- To administer basic first aid training where appropriately trained
- Carry out a range of administrative duties
